This collection holds Vanguard casters with polyurethane, Duralast polyurethane and phenolic wheels, built for shop carts, equipment, and material handling carts that move heavier loads. Casters in this collection range from 410 to 1,500 lb per caster. Wheels in this category range from 6 up to 8 inches in diameter with a 2 in tread width. The collection includes swivel and rigid models. Polyurethane (poly or urethane) treads are quiet, floor safe, and resist water and many chemicals. Duralast polyurethane treads are quiet, protect floors, and carry heavy loads with low rolling effort. Phenolic rolls easily on smooth floors and handles dry heat, oil, and grease, but it is not made for water or washdown. It suits warehouse carts, toolboxes, and tool carts, and it is loud on rough floors. Match plate size, bolt pattern, and overall height before you order.
