All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

Match a 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 top plate when bolting casters under heavy industrial carts that tear up kingpin races. Typical builds show wheel diameters 8, 10 in, steel treads, and capacities 10,000 to 20,000 lb. For dual-wheel or wide treads, check fork clearance and swivel radius in tight aisles. Larger plates spread bolt stress on thick frames under continuous tow abuse. These extreme-duty options cover everyday heavy industrial carts that tear up kingpin races without jumping to extreme forged series.
