The Stevens BWA-S is a big wheel attachment that adds two 10 in tires behind a Stevens 3/4 in steel appliance truck, such as the SRT, so a tipped-back load rolls on four wheels over grass, sand and gravel. About the BWA-S

The BWA-S is Stevens' big wheel attachment for its steel ESCORT appliance trucks. It mounts on the back of the truck and adds two 10 in tires behind the truck's own wheels. Once the load is tipped back it rides on four wheels, so lawns, sand, gravel drives and job sites that bog down a two-wheel truck become an easy roll.

Choose flat free or air tires. Stevens' price list puts the flat free version at 18 lb and the air version at 28 lb. The bracket is red to match Stevens' steel trucks; the silver BWA-M is the magnesium version.

How to use the BWA-S

1. Fit it. The attachment mounts to the back of the truck. A turnbuckle attaches and removes it.
2. Load the truck as usual. Strap the appliance to the truck and tip it back.
3. Roll on four wheels. With the load tipped back, the 10 in big wheels carry it with the truck's own wheels, so the truck supports the load instead of you.
4. Stairs. We recommend taking the attachment off before you use the truck's crawler treads on stairs.

Stevens Appliance Truck Company has built hand trucks in Augusta, Georgia since 1936 and describes itself as the oldest continuous hand truck maker in the United States. Every unit is built in Augusta with American-made components and labor.
