All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.

Mold-on rubber tread bonded to a high-impact plastic core. Cuts wheel weight 40-60% vs iron core. Ideal for hand trucks, light-medium service carts, and applications where overall cart weight matters. Up to 650 lb capacity per wheel.
Weight savings + corrosion resistance + lower cost. Plastic core eliminates rust failure on outdoor or wash-down equipment. Reduces cart tare weight by 5-15 lb on a 4-wheel cart, which matters for handheld and ergonomic applications.
High-impact engineered polymer (typically nylon or polypropylene blend) — rated for normal industrial shock loads up to the wheel's load rating. For heavy shock (forklift impact, drop loads), spec iron core instead.
Yes — UV-stable for years of outdoor exposure. Plastic core won't rust like iron. Best for hand trucks, garden equipment, dock carts, and light outdoor service vehicles.
| Diameter | Tread Width | Capacity | Bearing |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8" | 2" | 450 lb | Roller bearing |
| 8" | 2-1/2" | 550 lb | Roller bearing |
| 10" | 2" | 550 lb | Roller bearing |
| 10" | 2-1/2" | 650 lb | Roller bearing |
For platform truck and hand truck rebuilds, plastic-core rubber is the sweet spot — quiet rolling, non-marking, half the weight of iron, and 30-40% lower cost.
Custom durometer, hub material, plate spec, or non-standard size — engineering team turns RFQs same day.
No under normal service. Bonding is chemical + mechanical (interlocking ridges in the core mold). Properly cured wheels carry standard 1-year warranty against delamination.
Up to 140°F intermittent. Above that the plastic core softens. For hot wash-down, spec polyurethane on aluminum or stainless steel.
No — plastic core is an insulator. For ESD-sensitive areas, spec conductive rubber on metal core.
200mm and 250mm available — submit RFQ. Most commonly spec'd for European OEM hand trucks and platform carts.
Roller bearing standard, bore size dependent on diameter (typically 1/2" or 5/8"). Sealed ball bearings available as upgrade.
