All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Tray-delivery carts, meal carts, and nutrition carts run every corridor three times a day. Worn casters squeal past patient rooms and strain dietary staff. CasterDoctor restores quiet, easy-roll, washdown-rated casters on-site.
Tray carts squeal past patient rooms at breakfast, lunch, and dinner — three HCAHPS quietness hits a day. Sealed, engineered casters run silent.
A fully loaded tray cart on worn casters is a real strain load. Specified-for-load casters cut push-force for the dietary team.
Dietary carts get washed daily. Worn, non-sealed casters rust and seize. Washdown-rated sealed casters survive the dish room.
Same-day on-site walk across the DFW metroplex. We catalog every cart, wheel, and stem dimension — with push-force and decibel baselines per asset class.
An engineered upgrade plan keyed to your noise and push-force targets. Locked spec sheet, transparent line-item quote, Net 30 invoicing.
Our crew arrives at your designated staging area to swap and repair on-site. After-hours and pickup-and-return options when patient flow requires it.
Sealed-bearing, engineered-tread casters that don't squeal through patient corridors during tray delivery.
Force-gauge readings before and after — measurable push-force reduction on loaded tray carts.
Sealed, corrosion-resistant casters specified to survive daily cart-wash without seizing.
Every tray, meal, and nutrition cart inventoried and serviced in one engagement.
"Healthcare facilities deserve a single point of accountability — from the first inspection through the last wheel installed. That's how we run every job."
Submissions route directly to and the CasterDoctor crew. Once your facility is approved as a vendor, we'll provide a dedicated work-order email address for ongoing service requests.
