All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Facility wheelchairs and transport chairs take constant abuse — and worn front casters shimmy, grab, and tip. CasterDoctor restores smooth, straight-tracking, quiet casters on-site across your whole chair fleet.
A shimmying wheelchair front caster is hard to steer and unsettling for the patient. Precision sealed casters track smooth at transport speed.
A front caster that catches a threshold can pitch a patient forward. Correctly-specified casters roll over transitions instead of grabbing them.
A rattling transport chair is undignified for the patient and noisy for the unit. Sealed-bearing soft-tread casters run silent.
Same-day on-site walk across the DFW metroplex. We catalog every cart, wheel, and stem dimension — with push-force and decibel baselines per asset class.
An engineered upgrade plan keyed to your noise and push-force targets. Locked spec sheet, transparent line-item quote, Net 30 invoicing.
Our crew arrives at your designated staging area to swap and repair on-site. After-hours and pickup-and-return options when patient flow requires it.
Precision casters that track straight at transport speed — easier on the patient and the transporter.
Casters specified to roll over door thresholds and elevator gaps without grabbing.
Soft-tread, sealed-bearing casters that don't rattle through the corridor.
We inventory and service every facility wheelchair and transport chair in one engagement, one invoice.
"Healthcare facilities deserve a single point of accountability — from the first inspection through the last wheel installed. That's how we run every job."
Submissions route directly to and the CasterDoctor crew. Once your facility is approved as a vendor, we'll provide a dedicated work-order email address for ongoing service requests.
