All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
CasterDoctor services every wheeled asset in Richardson healthcare facilities — hospital beds, crash carts, WOWs, stretchers, IV poles, surgical equipment. Same-day on-site inspection, white-glove install crew, one accountable vendor.
Squealing carts and beds in Richardson patient corridors drag down HCAHPS quietness scores and CMS reimbursement. Engineered TPR treads and sealed bearings restore patient-room calm.
Worn casters create push-force loads that drive musculoskeletal injuries and workers' comp claims across Richardson nursing, EVS, and transport teams. Specified-for-load components reduce strain measurably.
A single failed wheel pulls a cart or bed out of service and delays patient care. We keep Richardson facilities' equipment in rotation, not drifting to the broken-equipment corner.
Same-day on-site walk. We catalog every cart, wheel, and stem dimension — with push-force and decibel baselines per asset class.
An engineered upgrade plan keyed to your noise and push-force targets. Locked spec sheet, transparent line-item quote, Net 30 invoicing.
Our crew arrives at your designated staging area to swap and repair on-site. After-hours and pickup-and-return options when patient flow requires it.
Pre- and post-install decibel readings documented per asset class — defensible evidence for CMS reporting and patient experience reviews.
Force-gauge readings before and after every swap. Less staff strain, fewer workers' compensation claims, lower turnover.
Failed casters are typically a $40 fix on a $4,000 asset. We restore equipment to spec rather than retiring it prematurely.
One COI on file. One W-9. One crew leader. One invoice. CasterDoctor handles inspection, engineering, and install end-to-end.
"Healthcare facilities deserve a single point of accountability — from the first inspection through the last wheel installed. That's how we run every job."
From the Richardson hospital campuses to the dense clinic and surgery-center corridor along US-75, CasterDoctor services the wheeled equipment that keeps Richardson healthcare moving. We serve facilities operated by Methodist Health System, Texas Health Resources, and Baylor Scott & White — acute-care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, dialysis and infusion centers, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, imaging centers, diagnostic labs, and USP 797/800 compounding pharmacies.
Richardson sits inside our core DFW-metroplex service radius — same-day inspection is standard, and our crew installs on-site so equipment never leaves your facility.
Submissions route directly to and the CasterDoctor crew. Once your facility is approved as a vendor, we'll provide a dedicated work-order email address for ongoing service requests.
